Lemon-Lime Emraldfang
"My Name? Lemon-Lime. But most people call me Lime."
Kennel Number:
5 (Five)
Gender:
Male ♂
"Male, Obviously!"
Species:
"Boomslang"
Dispholidus typus

Personality:
Rebellious
Lime is a rebellious type of person snake. He doesn't like doing things how they should be, and usually ends up in a heap of trouble. He is also a risk taker, meaning he will try to do things that are not exactly safe.
Easily Angered
Lime is easily angered. He can simply explode at at moment. But, usually it is because of a series of events that lead up to being angered and can easily be avoided if somebody notices the signs.
Laid Back (Somewhat)
—adj. Slang.
1. relaxed or unhurried: laid-back music rhythms.
2. free from stress; easygoing; carefree: a laid-back way of living.
This describes Lemon-Lime when he's not in a hurry, not going anywhere. He just hangs arround without a care in the world and hates being bothered.
Has a Sense of Humor...
Lemon-Lime also likes a good joke. And he likes telling jokes. (Notice that they are not them same thing, as they usually aren't.)
...And a Dislike of Humans
Lime has always had a dislike of humans. He doesn't like how they take all the land they want and hurt snakes.
And what happened to his brothers and sisters and Scarlet.
But most importantly....
He has a Soft Spot Inside
He doesn't really show it to many people, but Lime does have a heart. He only shows it to his most trusted friends and to his crush/girlfriend Electric Wire. He will willingly help anyone in need if the situation needs it.
Brief History:
When Lime was an egg, he was lucky.
How was he lucky you ask? Well, it happened to be that her mother chose to leave an egg or two out of the main heat of the burrow, away from the eyes of birds and badgers and other things that would make a snack from an unguarded snake egg. But the disaster happened was not by an animal but by a human. It turns out two humans were making their way allong a trail when one of them slipped and fell right onto the burrow. The sand collapsed of it, crushing all of the eggs except for Lemon-Lime's and one other, wich got exposed to the sun. When the mother managed to get herself out, cut and battered, she was so upset. Then she noticed the white glint of an eggshell. She slithered over, relieved that at least a fraction of her precious young were not destroyed.
Want to hear another story about Lemon-Lime Emraldfang?
Well here I go.
"Hey Lime! You can't catch me!"
"Of corse I can! I'm just letting you win!"
Two young snakes were playing in a light, sandy clearing not too far from the creek. The rustling water could be heard from not far away as the cool liquid flowed over the stones in the creekbed. Lemon-Lime and his sister Scarlet were playing tag and it seemed that Lemon-Lime was no good at the game. Their mother lay basking in the sun not far away. digesting a mouse she had just caught.
It is slightly unusual for a mother snake to stay with the youngsters after hatching but Harrietta Emraldfang was a very unusual snake, and she had already been tramatized by losing the rest of her eggs in an unfortunate accident with humans that she was not up to letting her youngsters do off on their own.
"I hate this game." Lime said and rolled arround in the dirt. "Let's go exploring."
"You know mother tells us not to leave this clearing!" Scarlet said.
"Yes, but you have to have some adventure!" Lemon-Lime said. "I'm leaving if you come or not."
And so his sister gave in and followed him down to the gurgling creek.
At this point I want to say that they had a great and fun time causing mischif and adventuing, making new worlds with their minds and other things of the sort until their mother came calling, but that is not the case.
I will recount ths story as truithfully as I possibly can and try not to leave out one bit.
They played at the creek in the sweet happy way I have told you about two sentences back, but this lasted only for an hour and a half before the humans came. They came crashing through the undergrowth with a noise that could wake the dead, but it caught the two snakes unaware. One of the humans let out a noise and pointed at the two snakes.
"Run!" Shouted Lime and they slithered as fast as they could to excape the humans. But Scarlet was not fast enough. A long hooked metal pole pushed down on her delicate head. Lime gasped in terror from his hiding place in the bushes.
"Run Lime! Tell mother!" Scarlet shouted and Lime quickly slithered back to the clearing.
His mother wasn't there.
She wasn't in the burrow eather.
Lime quickly slithered back to the creek but the humans had gone, leaving their funny treaded tracks in the soft riverbank.
I don't know if it is possible for a snake to cry, but Lime broke out in sobs on the soft mud, his tail getting washed by the river.
He was all alone.
